2015 PAC Annual Meeting

Our 2015 Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, March 15, 12:30pm in the Church of the Nativity meeting hall at 240 Fell St. in San Francisco.

Please do come to join us!

We can't afford to lose your support for PAC. Only a very limited number of Polish Americans are really conscious socially and politically and can be counted among our supporters, and you are among those few. And this meeting will be special as there will be elections of a new Executive Board and a proposal is submitted to make changes in the by-laws.

A simple action by you now will keep your PAC membership current for another year. Just pay your dues.

Yes, we are trying our best to encourage the other Polish Americans to join us and help out, but it is a tough job. What is important right now is that you know how much we appreciate your being that special kind of person. You truly understand what it means to be a responsible member of our ethnic, clearly defined group with so old cultural traditions.

And this year, 2015, is going to be quite special. We finally got support among various Polonian groups for a very special and new undertaking: to organize a Polish Festival on a grand scale - and it has to be done by all of us together, following the motto of old Polish sayings: W JEDNOSCI SILA, and another: ZGODA BUDUJE, NIEZGODA RUJNUJE.

As a nation-wide "umbrella" type organization, the Polish American Congress provides a suitable platform for building this kind of group solidarity and therefore to find the ways to influence over social and political environment.

And we count on you!

Because you care about matters such as our standing in the American society, misrepresentations (to say the least) about Poles and their history, if not simple omissions and outright slanders, we can hope we can count on you to go the extra mile today and offer your time as a volunteer or/and a donation as eventually your additional financial support.

We are asking you for an extra gift of compassion to enable all of us to become proud members of this society in the broadest meaning of the word.

We are asking you and your family and friends to be there - at the Polish Heritage Festival - on this paricular Saturday, May 30^th 2015.
