Polish Honor Riders arrive in California
 
Master Corporal Michal Packo, Master Corporal Adam Lewkowski, and Senior
Corporal Sebastian Stepniak arrived from Warsaw Poland this week in order to fulfill
a goal they set for themselves as veterans of the war on terror in Afghanistan. On Friday
June 15th they will begin a forty-four day bicycle trek across America to commemorate
the forty-four Polish soldiers who died fighting terrorism in Afghanistan. Their mission
will end in New York City on July 28th.  

The ride will begin Friday June 15th 9 a.m. in the plaza in front of the Polish Consulate,
12400 Wilshire Blvd #555, Los Angeles, CA. The Consul General, along with color
guards from both the United States and Poland and other well-wishers will participate in
a ceremony honoring the Polish veterans who died in Afghanistan. 
 
Riders are welcome to participate in the first leg of the journey to Fontana, CA.
